Position Available: Power BI Specialist
Location: Remote; Sri Lanka
Hours: Full-time - 5:30am - 1:30pm, IST Colombo time

We’re looking for a Power BI Specialist to help design, build, and improve dashboards and reporting solutions for clients and stakeholders, making it easier for them to understand and act on their data. Using a data–analysis–visualization approach, you’ll organize and integrate data, explore trends, and uncover opportunities that bring clarity to business decisions. This is a great opportunity to create analytics solutions that are practical, scalable, and meaningful, while playing a key role in supporting business growth.

Your main responsibilities & experience:

• Design & Dashboard Development
  Design, develop, and deliver intuitive, self-service Power BI dashboards that support data analysis, modelling, and visualization. Create dashboards that enable stakeholders to make informed, data-driven decisions by deeply understanding client and business requirements.
• Data Discovery & Analysis
  Perform data discovery and exploratory data analysis (EDA) on new and existing data sources to identify trends, opportunities, and problem areas early. Analyze data to provide meaningful insights that support business decision-making.
• Data Structuring & Integration
  Structure, transform, and integrate data from multiple structured and unstructured sources to ensure accuracy, consistency, and scalability of reporting solutions. Analyze consumer behavior and business performance through data interrogation to uncover actionable insights and new growth opportunities.
• Client & Stakeholder Management
  Collaborate closely with internal teams and clients to define reporting requirements, validate solutions, and ensure successful adoption of Power BI dashboards and analytics solutions.

What your profile will look like:

• Must have - Minimum 3+ years of demonstrable experience as a Power BI Specialist or in a similar business intelligence role.
• Must have -Extensive hands-on experience and proficiency in Power BI development, including data modelling, DAX, Power Query, and advanced Excel skills (formulas, pivot tables, and data analysis).
• Must have -Proven track record of delivering customer-focused reporting solutions that support business decision-making
• Must have- Strong understanding of data visualization principles and best practices, with the ability to translate complex data into clear, intuitive dashboards.
• Must have - strong communication skills: Fluent written & oral English skills is a must.
• Must-Have -Strong Internet Connection: Stable fiber connectivity with a minimum bandwidth of 50 Mbps.
